in 1996 African Overland started as a overland tour operator in southern Africa. For many years we led tours from Cape Town to Victoria Falls but in 2007 we decided to shift our focus to smaller tailor made tours, and now we pride ourselves in offering clients a choice between the very best overland tours that the industry has to offer.
Our staff are all ex guides who know the trips and Africa first hand so they can assist clients in choosing a tour which is suited for them.

Sas joined Umkulu Sarari & Canoe Trails in 2004. His passion for nature, the outdoors, adventure and life has been a huge asset to our company. Sas is our lead kayaking trail guide and he specialises in the Kalahari, Richtersveld, West Coast and Orange River.
