Cape Town to Dar Es Salaam


Beginning our safari in the shadow of Cape Town's Table Mountain, we travel through Namibia's dramatic desert and desolate coastline before journeying inland to the tranquil lagoons and waterways of the Okavango Delta. From there we take in the sight of the magnificent Victoria Falls, the picturesque Lake Malawi and end the trip with some relaxing days on Zanzibar's dazzling beaches. This is the perfect combination of diverse scenery, rewarding wildlife watching and downtime on the beach.

Both lie on the Tsauchab River, one of two large rivers (the other being the Tsondab, further north) which flow westward into the great dune-field of the central Namib, but never reach the ocean.

Both end by forming flat white pans dotted with green trees, surrounded by spectacular dunes

  LAKE MALAWI  
  Lake Malawi , is the most southerly lake in the Great African Rift Valley system. The lake, third largest in Africa, is situated between Malawi, Mozambique, and Tanzania. Famously visited by the Scottish explorer and missionary David Livingstone, Lake Malawi has sometimes been referred by English-speaking people as "Livingstone's Lake."

Zanzibar is the collective name for two islands: Unguja (the main island) and Pemba Island, situated in the Indian Ocean. The capital of Zanzibar, located on the island of Unguja, is Zanzibar City. The city's old quarter, known as Stone Town, is a World Heritage Site.
