Game Viewing, Great African Trek, Cape Town to Nairobi
56 DAY GREAT AFRICAN TREK
Cape Town to Nairobi

From Table Mountain to Kenya's bustling capital of Nairobi, this epic 56-day safari covers all the highlights of nine countries in southern and east Africa. Beginning in dynamic Cape Town, easily one of the most beautiful cities in the world, we visit the giant sand dunes in Namibia's Namib-Naukluft Park, the vast wilderness of the Okavango Delta and the thundering Victoria Falls. Idle away sunny days on Lake Malawi, bask on palm-backed beaches on Zanzibar, watch thousands of animals trample the plains of the Masai Mara and the Serengeti, and. stare into the soft brown eyes of a gorilla.

  Sesriem & Sossusvlei
Both lie on the Tsauchab River, one of two large rivers (the other being the Tsondab, further north) which flow westward into the great dune-field of the central Namib, but never reach the ocean.

Both end by forming flat white pans dotted with green trees, surrounded by spectacular dunes

Okavango Delta
The Delta covers 16000km. It is one of the largest inland deltas in the world.

The delta forms many islands in high season, which also act as a base camp for your mokoro and walking safari experience.

  MASAI MARA

The Wildebeest Migration in East Africa, also known as “The Great Migration” takes place between Kenya's Masai Mara and Tanzania's Serengeti National Park and is one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on the planet. Thousands of wildebeest and zebra’s migrate between the Serengeti and the Masai Mara, constantly driven by their search for fresh grazing. The massive herds are closely followed by predators (lion, hyena and cheetah), making the most of every opportunity to catch their next meal.

The precise timing of the annual wildebeest migration depends on the rains. It is a very unpredictable and spontaneous natural event, with calving season taking place in the Serengeti between January and mid-March. The wildebeest migration starts to head towards the Western Serengeti in May or June.
