10 Day Zanzibar and Serengeti Trek – Accommodated tour

Departing Dar es Salaam on a ferry we spend the first 3 days away from the truck on the island paradise of Zanzibar. Explore the island visiting Stone Town - the historical centre of Zanzibar town and a world heritage site. Popular activities while on Zanzibar include spice tours, visit to Prison Island, snorkeling, scuba diving and other water sports.
From Zanzibar the tour heads inland passes Moun Kilimanjaro before heading to Arusha which is our base from where we enter the Serengeti. Even though this is an accommodated trip the Serengeti excursion is a camping excursion.
The Serengeti is known for wide open plains and the great wildebeest migration that takes place each year. If you are lucky enough to experience the migration it is something you will never forget. The 3 day excursion also includes a game drive down into Ngorongoro Crater, teaming with wildlife and magnificent scenery this is a excursion not to be missed.
Leaving Arusha behind we cross into Kenya where the tour comes to an end in Nairobi.
