8 Day Delta and Chobe Trail - Accommodated tour
Route: Windhoek – Victoria Falls
Departing Windhoek, Namibia the tour enters Botswana on the first day stopping near a small town called Ghanzi where guests will experience the culture and traditional of the San people. A fly in stay in the Okavango is next on the itinerary where walking trails and mokoro trips along the waterways of the Okavango Delta are offered. The Okavango Delta is one of the largest inland deltas in the world and recently has been declared a world heritage site. What makes this experience special is flying over the delta which gives guests a sense of how vaste the area is that is covered mostly by water and marsh land.
Before ending the trip at the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe the trip visits Chobe National Park which is home to the highest concentration of elephants in Africa. Game viewing is second to none and the sunset cruise on the Chobe River is not to be missed.
