Chobe National Park Camping Safaris
There are few places left in Africa where you can get as close to nature as on one of these Chobe National Park camping safaris. We only use private campsites within the Chobe National Park which are unfenced so the animals have free roam to possibly join you around the campfire.
Day 1: 08:30 am Safari departs from Kasane - Morning boat cruise and afternoon game drive – Overnight in private unfenced campsite within Chobe National Park (Lunch, Dinner included)
Day 2: Chobe National Park morning and afternoon game drives in open game drive vehicles (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)
Day 3: Chobe National Park – Kasane – Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise. Trip ends around 16:30 back in Kasane (Breakfast, Lunch included)
Transfers can be arranged from Victoria Falls or Livingstone to join the safari.
This trip is a comfortable budget camping safari, with semi participation required – i.e. putting up your tent and assisting with certain chores like collecting firewood and packing. There will be a cook on the trip and no cooking is required by guests. Meals will consist of typical hearty ‘bush cuisine prepared on open fires with special dietary requirements also catered for on request.
Rates:
Low season: USD 360 pp sharing (dates excluding 15 June – 15 September 2014 & 2015)
High season: USD 385 pp sharing (15 June – 15 September 2014 & 2015)
single supplement of USD 100 will apply
Transfer rates:
USD 100 for a return transfer from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
USD 110 for a return transfer from Livingstone, Zambia
