The Lemosho Route is one of the least used routes to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro. The route starts near Moshi on the western side of the mountain where it winds through thick rainforest and later across morelands with beautiful ferns and Erica`s. The trail is small and often has steep areas to contend with.

On day 3 the trail merges with the Machame Route. The Lemosho is again more difficult than the Marangu route and climbers need to be fit and well prepared.

Accommodation is in tents on the mountain.

Price per person: From USD 2310 per person on a scheduled departure
