Zambia is located in central Africa sharing borders with Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and Mozambique to the south, Angola to the west, DR Congo to the North and Tanzania to the North east.
Zambia`s economy is supported by the copper mining industry near the Congo border as well as agriculture. Most of Zambia is set on high plateaus with occasional mountains and river basins.

Zambia has a tropical climate, the rainy season is in summer from November to April with the dry season being from May to October. October and November are generally very hot months sometimes bordering on the uncomfortable while the winter months are a good time to visit.
