Zimbabwe is a landlocked country in southern Africa sharing borders with South Africa to the south, Botswana to the west, Zambia to the north and Mozambique to the east.
Zimbabwe is most likely known for the Victoria Falls but there is so much more to the country that just the small vibrant town of Victoria Falls.
The country offers excellent game viewing, impressive historical sites and great fishing and boating holidays on Lake Kariba.

Best time to visit:
Zimbabwe has a predominantly summer rainfall between December and March with the rest of the year being dry. Game viewing is best in the dry season. The Victoria Falls is best viewed when the Zambezi is not at its highest or lowest. From March through June the water is generally very high and the amount of spray does obstruct the view of the falls. In the months when the river is very low – October & November there is hardly any water coming over the falls so again can be disappointing.
